My whole body is pretty much covered in tattoos. Tattoos have been pretty overlooked in the art world for centuries. Really they aren't considered art by the majority of the world, but I challenge each of you to find a good tattoo that does not display the principles of graphic design. Most of the old tattoo designs are beginning to replace other graphics on shirts and hats and the like at trendy little boutiques world wide. The very concept of tattoos is to convey meaning in a small part of the skin. Really good tattoos are impecible graphic design. Take this one for instance. It's completely balanced, well planned out, and the water married with the lotus flowers has a succinct meaning in tattoo culture. It just looks cool. dammit.

That one is absolutely beautiful. It really compliments the shape of her body, too.
